Cards4.net is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. The site exists to let you play card games, not to build a detailed behavioral profile of your browsing habits. We keep the experience focused on gameplay, and any data handling is limited to what is needed to provide the service, keep the site secure, and make the application function reliably.

If you sign in, the account system uses magic links rather than passwords, which reduces the amount of sensitive information stored or transmitted. Session data is used to keep you signed in and to maintain a working game experience, but the overall philosophy remains minimal collection and minimal retention. We do not want unnecessary data, and we avoid features whose purpose is tracking rather than service delivery.

Analytics: Cards4.net runs a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics at tracking.teetrack.it. It loads only after you grant consent via the cookie banner — if you decline, nothing loads at all. Plausible collects aggregate page counts (URL, referrer, day, country, browser, operating system), sets no cookies, stores no raw IP addresses, and builds no per-visitor profile.

Error reports: When something breaks, a report goes to a Sentry instance so the bug can be fixed. Personally identifying information (email addresses, user identifiers, raw request bodies, cookies) is scrubbed before the event leaves your browser or the server.
