About this video
Play one real Eight Off deal twice for twenty moves: once by asking where each parked card will go next, and once by following the Hint button. See why every card has one place in the columns, when a cell is worth spending, and how the hinted game runs out of cells and loses.
Follow one real Eight Off deal for twenty moves, asking before each move where a card can go next. Because you build down in suit with a single deck, every card has exactly one place in the columns, so a parked card needs a known way back out.
The planned game names the exit for each card it puts into a cell and finishes with eight cards on the foundations and four empty cells. The same deal is then played by following the Hint button: it fills six cells with cards that cannot leave soon, and its next suggestion loses. Every board claim was checked against the Cards4 game engine.
